The Right Corecare Information Helpline is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There are 2 separate contact numbers for specific issues.

Employees can be supported in a wide variety of areas including:

Calls are answered by trained, qualified telephone counsellors who meet the following criteria:

  • Governance by a recognised code of practice (either BPS or BACP)
  • Recognised accredited counselling qualification
  • At least three years' experience in an appropriate caring profession
  • Special aptitude for and training in providing telephone support
  • Training by specialist agencies (e.g. CRUSE, Samaritans)
  • Aptitude for and training in research and information services

They have immediate access to:

  • A database containing details of over 600 self-help groups
  • National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux (NACAB) database
  • A library resource containing printed and on-line information
  • A wide range of constantly updated fact-sheets

Employees also have access to legal and financial experts:

  • The Legal Team are all qualified legal practitioners recruited from the legal profession
  • Financial Advisors are predominantly banking or accounting professionals who can advise on debt, mortgages, insurance
